The Henderson Libraries outreach team is always on the go, bringing the library and its services straight to you! From visiting schools and senior centers to participating in community events, we stop at nothing to share the joy of reading, learning, and discovery within our community.

Outreach Services

Educational Centers: Introduce and assist with library technology and databases, conduct storytimes from infant to parenthood, STEAM, STEM, arts & crafts, creative activities, and library card sign-ups.

Senior Living Centers: Stay sharp kits, arts & crafts, regular and large print reading material, magnifiers, headphones, playaways, books on CD’s, chromebook and Wifi device check-outs (depending on availability).

Community partnerships: Free book giveaways (while supplies lasts), library card sign-ups, library materials check-outs, information on library resources, services, and programs.
