Book Club in a Bag
Are you in a book club or looking to start one?
Henderson Libraries is pleased to offer our Book Club in a Bag (BCIAB) program, available to all current Henderson Libraries account holders!
What comes in a Book Club in a Bag kit?
Most kits include:
- A backpack
- Six paperback copies of a book
- A folder with guidelines, discussion questions, a group sign-out chart, a book guide, and six bookmarks
Guidelines
- Book Club in a Bag (BCIAB) kits are available to patrons ages 18 and older with a Henderson Libraries account in good standing.
- See the lists above for current titles. Please allow a few weeks for your kit to be available, especially for popular titles.
- BCIAB kits must be checked out on a single Henderson Libraries account, and the account holder is financially responsible for all six copies. You may have up to two kits checked out at a time.
- BCIAB kits can be checked out for six weeks (typically, one week to distribute, four weeks to read, and one week to return to the library).
- Once your reservation is ready for pickup, you will receive an email notification. You will then have seven days to pick up the BCIAB kit from the Service Desk.

Check the contents of the BCIAB kit before leaving the library. Each kit contains: a backpack, six paperback copies of the book, and a folder with guidelines, discussion questions, group sign out sheet, book guide, and six bookmarks.
- Return the BCIAB kit to the Service Desk inside the library, not in the outdoor book drop.
