Crafting for a Cause 2026
Join us in our efforts to lend a helping hand!
During this annual program, you can pick up a free skein of yarn to use to craft a knitted item for someone in our community who could benefit from a gesture of kindness. Items can be a scarf, hat, and blanket.
Yarn can be picked up at the James I. Gibson Library during regular business hours. All completed projects are due Saturday, November 21st at 5pm and can be dropped off at the James I. Gibson Library and Paseo Verde Library, at the Customer Service desk.
We are not taking Yarn Donations at this time.

In 2025, we were able to donate 350 completed pieces, including hats, headbands, scarves, sweaters for children, blankets, and arm warmers, to local organizations.
