This free service is for individuals who reside in Henderson, Nevada, and who are unable to physically come to the library due to temporary or long-term mobility issues, health, or disability barriers. 

To get started with this program, please apply to Meals on Wheels, and then contact Henderson Libraries at (702) 707-2665 and let our team know more about what types of materials you would like to receive.

Who is eligible?

Once you are verified through Meals on Wheels:

  • Service will start a few weeks after verification.
  • If you do not currently have a library account, we can create one for you.
  • All items will have a due week, when you are expected to gather the materials, bag them in the special library bag, and set out for your Meals on Wheels driver.
  • During that same week, the next month's supply of materials will be sent to you.  You will be sent 1 bag of items, where the number of items may vary monthly.
  • We will waive overdue fines, but you will still be responsible for items should they be lost or damaged.
