A keeper from the Lion Habitat Ranch will be available to talk about the plight of the lions, as well as the animals who call the Lion Habitat Ranch home.

Established in 2013, World Lion Day raises awareness about the conservation of lions and their habitats. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) estimates there to only be between 23,000 and 39,000 lions left in the wild.
