Create your own diya lamp inspired by the novel, "The Henna Artist." Ages 18+. Space is limited. Pick up a pass at the desk 30 minutes before.

Diya, meaning "light," is a small oil or candle lamp traditionally made from clay and used to represent enlightenment, prosperity, knowledge, and wisdom.

This program is part of One Book, One Henderson, our community-wide book club featuring the novel "The Henna Artist" by Alka Joshi.
