Local Author Showcase

Join us for the 8th Annual Local Author Showcase at the Paseo Verde Library!

Are you Interested in participating in our Local Author Showcase? We are looking for local authors to come and showcase their work for the Henderson community!

Please note that space is limited and that submitting an application does not guarantee a place at the showcase. Only authors who receive confirmation from Henderson Libraries will be able to participate.

The last day to submit an application is March 27th, 2026.

Local Author Showcase Eligibility   

  • Must be a current resident of Clark County, Nevada.
  • Must be 18 years and older.
  • Works not yet published by the time of the showcase will not be considered.
  • At least one work must have been published in the last 5 years (2021 to May of 2026).
  • Preference given to authors who haven’t participated in previous Showcases.
  • Authors are responsible for managing their own book sales and for troubleshooting any network connectivity issues.
  • No charge to participate.
  • There will be NO reading of material during the showcase.
  • Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Authors will not get to select where they are placed for the event.
  • Adult, teen, and children’s titles are eligible.
  • Books must be original works—referential works, plagiarized materials, and AI-generated content will not be accepted.
  • Books must be in an appropriate format (pamphlets, flyers, loose-leaf, spiral-bound, and brochures will not be accepted).
