Hi, my name is Mayah! I’m a yellow Labrador Retriever. I was born on April 7, 2008 in beautiful Boise, Idaho. I’m a pretty educated dog. I have completed my Beginner and Intermediate behavior classes and I have even graduated with my Canine Good Citizen certificate (think doggie college). I did Agility classes just for fun, and I passed my Therapy Dog test, when I was very young!

I LOVE to swim! I belong to the Las Vegas Dock Dogs group. You might have seen Dock Dogs on TV. It’s a really fun sport for dogs who love water. My mom is really proud of me. I have won ribbons in several dock dogs events! I also love to play a game with other dogs called, “flyball!” This is great fun too! But, my very favorite pastime is playing Frisbee! I’ve been told I’m really good at it too!

I also like lying out in the sun, which is easy to do here! I love going on long walks and when I just need some alone time; I hideout in mom’s closet on her shoes.

Some of my favorite treats to eat are pumpkin, oatmeal, unsalted rice cakes, bananas and pineapple. When I meet new people I like to give them a BIG kiss and my paw! I love visiting with patients during my visits to the hospital and of course I really love my Reading with Rover kids! Hey! Do you like going to the park? I Do! Maybe you will see me at the park someday. I will be the dog going down the slide! I just love to have fun!!
