Experience Nigeria through music, crafts, artifacts, and photographs!

Dance to the Nigerian beat as author and educator Judith C. Owens-Lalude leads you on an unforgettable journey through this beautiful West African country. Enjoy a slide show that will take you right into the lives of the people, as well as displays of Yoruba arts and crafts, clothing, dolls, and talking drums (the Yoruba nation is in Southwest Nigeria and extends to neighboring states).  

This program is part of Around the World at Henderson Libraries, a celebration of countries and cultures.

Paseo Verde Library is located near The Dollar Loan Center just off S. Green Valley Pkwy. and Paseo Verde Pkwy. This location features a 1,000 square foot glass wall Reading Room, a volunteer-staffed genealogy room, private Zoom Rooms, antiquarian books for sale, and a local coffee shop.
