Leo Lukido, general manager of KitcheNova and Tea and Whisk, will demonstrate Gongfu tea preparation. This method of brewing was popular during China's Ming Dynasty, around the year 1500. The difference between the regular brewing method and Gongfu is the amount of tea leaves used and the steeping duration, which allows for multiple infusions. This method requires practice, and the term "Gongfu style" literally means using great skill to brew tea.
