Learn about the Japanese art of mandalas and how they have been used to tell stories throughout the ages. Then have fun making your own art!

Join us for a presentation relating to Japanese art and culture through mandalas and their ability to create peaceful and meaningful imagery, followed by a demonstration.

For ages 10 and up, but children ages 10-12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. This project is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Part of Around the World at Henderson Libraries, a celebration of countries and cultures.

Paseo Verde Library is located near The Dollar Loan Center just off S. Green Valley Pkwy. and Paseo Verde Pkwy. This location features a 1,000 square foot glass wall Reading Room, a volunteer-staffed genealogy room, private Zoom Rooms, antiquarian books for sale, and a local coffee shop.
