Enjoy samples of gyros and learn more about this beloved meat dish of Greek people and folks worldwide.

Grilling meat on skewers has ancient roots in the Eastern Mediterranean. "Gyros" has its origin in the Greek word γύρος, meaning "turn." This dish is made of meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie and is usually served in a flatbread. Hungry yet? Learn more and sample some of this tasty Greek food.
