Do you remember when you first discovered haiku? Explore the traditional haiku structure beyond the three-line, five-seven-five syllable guidelines and embrace the spirit of this ancient poetry and its endless possibilities. Whether you're a published poet, a grand-slam champion, or have never written a poem, this workshop is for you. The casual evening will include generative prompts and writing time. You'll go home with a new poem or two!
