Make an Appointment

Passport hours are on Fridays, 9 AM- 1 PM, by appointment only. For appointments, please call 702-565-8402.

If this is your first passport, you must in apply in person. The DS-11 New Application is available at the Gibson Library or online at https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html . Applications must be completed in black ink and do not sign the application before your appointment.

The Gibson Library does not handle passport renewals.

If you have questions, you may also obtain information at the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

You will need to bring valid photo ID (examples: driver's license, certificate of naturalization of citizenship, government employee ID, etc.) and the original or certified copy of proof of citizenship (examples: birth certificate, naturalization certificate, etc), as photocopies are not accepted.

If you are applying for a child, the child and both parents must be present.

Please bring one check or money order for the U. S. Department of State and cash or debit/credit card for the execution fee due to the library. For a current list of fees, download the U.S. State Department Fee Chart PDF .

 For an additional $12 fee, paid with cash or debit/credit card, Gibson Library’s passport staff can take your photo.
